Some Mothers do ‘Ave ‘Em

They say laughter is the best medicine — and you’re in for a high dose with this TV sitcom, brilliantly adapted for the stage by Guy Unsworth.

Laughter from start to finish, with a feel-good ending. Simply delightful, Some Mothers Do ’Ave ’Em is a must-see!

First performed on stage in 2018 at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon.

Betty is pregnant, but as she tries to tell Frank, he’s preoccupied with dreams of newfound fame as a magician. With watches disappearing, lights flickering, records playing, water squirting, chicken feathers flying, shelves collapsing, porridge pouring, and wine exploding — this is a show not to be missed!

As guests arrive for dinner and crossed wires abound, priceless misunderstandings are on the menu. Hilarious mishaps and DIY disasters bring the house down — quite literally!

A thoroughly enjoyable visit to the theatre, packed with laughter from beginning to end. Simply delightful, Some Mothers Do ’Ave ’Em is a must-see!

“My mother once said — this is not a show to miss out on.”
